Refund policy

Fourteen days, no questions, no conditions. Here is the rest.

Applies to every TidyWL Pro purchase made through Paddle, our merchant of record. Published 2026-09-02. Seller: Tsz Hin Lam (Dominic Lam), operating as TidyWL, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The short version

How to ask

Email [email protected], or reply to your Paddle receipt. Anything that lets us find the order helps — the receipt, the order number, or the email address you paid with — but none of it is a condition of the refund. We aim to answer within two business days, and we do not ask why.

You can also go straight to Paddle at paddle.net, which is the buyer support site for every purchase Paddle processes. Either route reaches the same refund.

What happens after a refund

If YouTube breaks a Pro feature

This section only ever adds to the 14-day window above. It never shortens it or attaches a condition to it.

TidyWL works with YouTube's web endpoints rather than an official API, and YouTube can change them at any time. If a Pro feature stops working because of a YouTube change and we have not restored it within 30 days of it stopping, you can ask for a refund of the unused part of a yearly subscription, counted from the day it stopped. On a monthly plan, cancel and the next charge does not happen. If a change cannot be fixed at all, we say so on this site and in the extension, stop selling Pro, and refund the remaining term to every yearly subscriber without being asked.

Chargebacks

Please ask us first. A refund is one email and takes days; a chargeback takes weeks, costs a dispute fee on our side, and ends with the same result. If you have already filed one, tell us and we will confirm it to Paddle rather than contest it.

Changes to this policy

A change to this policy never applies to a charge made before the change, unless the change is in your favour — as the move from 7 days to 14 was.
